2013年11月21日的《中國郵報》台灣財經版有篇報導談到台股昨天的收盤內容：
Rally in old economy stocks pushes shares higher in local market, closing at 8,260.21
標題裡的Old-economy stocks即為傳統產業股，文中提到的傳產股代表為東隆興業(Toung Loong Textile Mfg. Co.)、遠東新(Far Eastern New Century Corp)和台灣水泥(Taiwan Cement Co.)。
另外提到大型股為Large cap stocks
文中turnover出現兩次，第一次是" turnover of NT$74.76 billion (US$2.53 billion)"，另一次是"Turnover in MediaTek shares alone was NT$4.08 billion"，都是「成交量」。而MediaTek即提出八核心處理器(octa-core processor)的聯發科 (官網中文案是true octa core)。
